Graduate training at
the University of Alabama at Birmingham is currently available via several
different specializations, reviewed in the UAB Graduate Programs link to the
left.
The Program in
Immunology has also proposed an integrated graduate training program in
immunology (Immunology Training link). This recommendation is currently
under consideration by the Graduate Education arm of the School of Medicine
Strategic Planning enterprise since implementation of a training program in
immunology will require re-organization of the existing UAB graduate program.
It is anticipated that such an immunology training program will provide greater
visibility and will enhance the competitiveness of graduate training.
